One hour total does not answer every question
Hours worked, wage-progression credit, seniority, and benefit credit can answer different questions. Do not assume one total determines them all.
Payroll records concern work and earnings. A local’s seniority system and a benefit plan may use different rules and measurement periods.
Ask which organization maintains the record and which rule defines the credit. A difference between totals is not automatically an error.

Employer recordkeeping duties do not mean every field must appear on a worker's pay stub. This is not a universal right of worker access or a particular state's pay-statement statute. Payroll hours need not equal a local's seniority or plan-credit hours. Use coverage/exemption caveats; do not supply individualized legal or tax advice.
